About Miss Haley...

I am very excited to begin my fifth school year at St. Brendan's. I have had a really busy, yet fun-filled summer. I was able to go camping at Lake Hope, swim, take bike rides, read, sew, do some woodworking, and enjoy time with my family and friends. I also got engaged this summer and am planning a May wedding!

I went to a Catholic elementary school and high school in Tiffin and then attended Otterbein University where I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Reading Endorsement. Before landing my job at St. Brendan I subbed for a year in many different school districts (both private and public) and all grade levels including specials. I did a long-term maternity leave for a second grade teacher at St. Andrew's for several weeks which included helping them prepare for 1st Communion. This summer I completed my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Technology at Ohio Dominican University.

I live in Dublin and my family consists of my mom, dad, and my 3 sisters. Ann is the oldest and also a teacher in Akron, Ohio. Emma is a senior at Mount St. Mary’s in Maryland and Laura is a sixth grader this year. Although we are spread out, I am very close to all of them. My family is a big part of my life.
